On 18 January and 19 January 2024, the "Agricultural Systems of the Future" were represented at the GFFA at the DAKIS consortium's stand at the Innovation Forum. They presented their research results to the Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem Özdemir and State Secretary Claudia Müller, as well as numerous trade visitors.

The Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) is an international conference organised by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) on agricultural and food policy issues. This year's theme was "Food systems of the future - together for a world without hunger". The GFFA aims to provide important impetus for sustainable and resilient food systems for our future.

At the joint stand, the "Agricultural Systems of the Future" presented their innovative vision of the future. DAKIS showed the new image film and presented the new DAKIS software and the EROSPOT web app. These digital tools were developed within the DAKIS project to support farmers and agricultural advisors in the implementation of sustainable production systems.

On a poster, the DAKIS consortium presented various scenarios of what the agricultural landscape could look like in 2050. The scientists asked the trade visitors which of these scenarios they would like to see for a future agricultural landscape and why. This led to lively and exciting discussions about what our agricultural landscapes should look like in the future, but also about how nature conservation goals and agricultural production can be realised on one area.
